GUITAR AND BASS MAGAZINE
The opening track 'Lookin' Back, Movin' On' sets the scene perfectly as Summers fires out some guitar wizardry to accompany his gritty vocals. 'Am I Losing You' is a big production slow Blues instrumental featuring excellent guitar work as Summers builds the tension. This one reminded me of Gary Moore. This is a good solid band who have produced a fine album. Anyone into the power trio approach of Cream, Hendrix, Gallagher and Larry Miller will find much to appeal here.
BLUES MATTERS
The musicianship of this trio is exemplary, with powerful vocals from Steve, matched by his expert fretwork. Scott and Trevor are right on the money. Their take on Keb Mo's Dangerous Mood sees them in particularly fine form both musically and vocally. They pitch in with four well-crafted originals with 'I saw the light' standing out.
